Anil Mangukia of Edison, New Jersey, has announced a public awareness event focused on fraud and scam prevention, scheduled for Feb. 8, 2026, in Maywood, New Jersey.

In a video message, Mangukia said the event is being organized in response to what he described as an increasing number of frauds and scams across the United States, particularly those targeting senior citizens and students.

The event is set to take place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at My Home Adult Daycare Center, 37 Brook Ave., Maywood, NJ 07607.

Mangukia said he became interested in fraud awareness after personally experiencing a scam in 2024.

He said he later researched how such schemes operate and learned that many are run globally. “I strongly felt to take an initiative to spread awareness and prevent others from becoming victims,” he said.

According to Mangukia, the initiative is intended to educate and support senior citizens as well as international students who come to the United States for higher education and may unknowingly become involved in fraudulent schemes.
