With just hours remaining before polls close in Illinois’ March 17 Democratic primary, Indian American businessman Neil Khot emphasized the need for greater Indian American representation in Congress.

Khot, who is seeking the party’s nomination for Congress, advocated for expanded influence in the Samosa Caucus during his appearance in the latest episode of the Rooted in Roaming podcast hosted by Avatans Kumar and Nirav Patel.

“We are a minority community; one percent of the country paying six percent of the taxes. I think we need representation in the Samosa Caucus, and we want to make sure that we continue to grow that,” Khot stated.
