Mindy Kaling to keynote Legalweek 2026

Indian American producer and actress Mindy Kaling will deliver the keynote address at Legalweek 2026, a leading legal technology conference.

The March 10 session is part of Legalweek’s expanded programming at the Javits Center, where the conference will run from March 9 to 12, bringing together legal professionals, technologists, law firm leaders, in-house counsel, and service providers for four days of discussions on legal operations, business strategy, and technology.

Titled “Creativity, Leadership, and the Long View,” Kaling’s keynote will examine how ideas take shape, how teams are built, and how momentum is sustained over time. 



The Emmy-nominated writer, producer, director, actor, and New York Times best-selling author will discuss leadership, creative longevity, and guiding teams through change with intention and resilience.

Kaling first gained national recognition as a writer and performer on the NBC series The Office, where she later served as an executive producer. She went on to create and star in The Mindy Project, becoming one of the first women of color to create and lead a U.S. network comedy series.

She has since created and produced shows including Never Have I Ever, The Sex Lives of College Girls, and Running Point, building a career across television, film, and publishing that spans writing, acting, producing, and directing.

Kaling is also the author of the best-selling memoirs Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns) and Why Not Me? Her work has earned multiple Emmy nominations and a Tony Award as a producer.
