A science fiction thriller by Indian American author and technologist Rajeev Nanda has entered Amazon bestseller lists, drawing attention for its themes spanning science, religion, politics, and artificial intelligence.

The 324-page novel, 'LOH,' was published by MindStir Media and ranked eighth in Amazon’s “Metaphysical Science Fiction eBooks” category and 25th in “Genetic Engineering Science Fiction.”

Set against religious extremism and political ambition, the novel examines how humanity might respond to the emergence of a verifiable divine presence or a highly advanced artificial intelligence. The story raises questions about the overlap between religious scriptures, the nature of humanity, and whether technology can cross into human consciousness.

The narrative blends suspense with philosophical inquiry, focusing on secret experiments involving time manipulation, artificial consciousness, and human hybrids. These developments set off unexpected consequences as an ancient prophecy begins to surface, pointing to the rebirth of a divine being referenced across religious traditions.

The novel's title, 'LOH,' is said to be derived from the Sanskrit word for 'iron' as an exploration of the tension between science and spirituality and faith and reason. The book combines speculative concepts with a fast-paced thriller structure.

California-based Nanda migrated to the United States in 1992 and has spent four decades in the technology sector. He began his career as a software engineer in India and later worked in roles across India and the U.S., including relocating to Bangalore in 2001 to support Intel’s eBG/IT group expansion across Asia before returning to the U.S. in 2012.

He has held leadership positions across multiple organizations, managing global teams and working on initiatives involving artificial intelligence, digital transformation, software-as-a-service (SaaS) platforms, smart buildings, and organizational change.

Currently head of AI practice at ITSoli, Nanda has authored six books on technology, strategy, leadership, AI, IoT, cloud computing, and innovation.

His earlier works include a 2001 debut on e-strategy, books on professional skills, and collections of stories and poetry. Writing, he has said, has been a long-standing interest since his school years, with previous articles published in outlets in India and the U.S.

The book is available globally in hardcover, paperback, and ebook formats through retailers including Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
