California-based KPI Partners has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras to establish a next-gen-ready Indian workforce.
This formal talent-pipeline partnership will be focused on upskilling, mentoring, and recruiting graduates into data, analytics, GenAI, and digital engineering roles, a release noted.
The agreement aims to support KPI Partners’ global delivery model by building a steady pool of industry-ready talent from IIT Madras, including students enrolled in the B.S. in Data Science and Applications program.

Under the MoU, KPI Partners and IIT Madras will create a dedicated recruitment track for graduates of the data science program, co-develop training modules, and design upskilling initiatives centered on GenAI, agentic AI, cloud-native platforms, and analytics engineering.
The firm said the collaboration responds to rising demand for technical expertise in AI/ML, cloud, analytics engineering, and data-driven product development.

"The BS in Data Science and Applications program was designed to create industry-ready graduates at scale, and partnerships like this ensure our learners gain direct access to high-impact career pathways."

The company said the IIT Madras partnership will accelerate its ability to deploy engineers and data scientists into global projects while offering students early-career exposure to large-scale innovation and international delivery environments.
The partnership also includes internships, project opportunities tied to live client work, and mentorship programs aligned with global delivery requirements.
