Indian origin netizen Devang Sethi, a coder turned traveler who is currently in Australia, shared a video describing how a simple note after accidentally hitting someone's car makes all the difference.

In the now viral video shared on Instagram, Sethi showcased a note that was left on his car by a person who had accidentally hit his parked car. He heaped praises on the stranger's goodness of heart for not only apologising for the accident but also leaving behind a note so that Sethi could claim compensation.

Sethi read from the note, "Sorry for hitting on your left side door. Here is my contact name Zheng Rong, registration number..."

This simple gesture was contrasted by him with what he has seen back in India. He noted that if a similar accident were to happen in India, many people would likely drive away without taking responsibility. In contrast, he pointed out that in Australia, people are considerate enough to leave a note and ask the car owner to claim the damages.

He concluded by saying, "It just shows you that a country is good because of its people," a claim supported by the hoards of netizens who commented on his post and agreed with his assessment of how things would have ended back home.
