The vision services are being offered in collaboration with nonprofit partners RestoringVision and Jatan Foundation, with a focus on improving access to basic eye care for underserved community members.
The health camp will also provide general health screenings, along with dental and vision checks, mental health counseling, and awareness sessions on diabetes and heart disease.
Additional services will include nutrition and fitness guidance, flu shots and vaccine information, immigration medical examination guidance (I-693), MassHealth insurance assistance, resources for seniors and immigrants, and estate planning consultations related to wills and trusts.
Healthcare professionals from various specialties are expected to volunteer at the event. Organizers said the initiative is intended to connect community members with qualified doctors while acknowledging the role of healthcare professionals in community service.
Early registration has been encouraged due to limited slots. The event is being supported by community and healthcare partners, including Happy Life Adult Day Health, Jatan Foundation, The Treasury, My Special Legal Planning, RestoringVision, Lynn Urgent Care, and Woburn Urgent Care.
