Agarwal is described by organizers as a centrist Democrat focused on unity, inclusive growth and bipartisan leadership. His campaign highlights economic opportunity, community empowerment and the representation of diverse voices.

The fundraiser is hosted by Dr. Romesh Japra and Sunita Japra, with co-hosts including Satish Vale, Manisha Shah, Gilli Yahalom and Mojgan Mehdizadeh. Individuals listed in support of the event include Garry Tan, Brian Armstrong and former Congressman Mike Honda.

Organizers say the event is intended to bring together a broad coalition of supporters and provide a forum for discussion around policy priorities. The program will be followed by dinner.

Campaign material notes that Agarwal is running against incumbent Congressman Ro Khanna. It also states that some community members believe certain issues affecting Hindus have not received adequate attention, without specifying policies.

The event is being held in collaboration with the Bay Area Jewish Coalition (BAJC Action), Asian Pacific Young Leaders (APYL) and NorCal Persian Iranian Diaspora (NFID).

Attendance requires prior registration, and RSVP is mandatory, according to organizers. The venue is located at 1000 Hunter Lane in Fremont.
