DPS hosts Indo-Albanian Discovery Challenge

The event was designed to promote cultural exchange and global awareness at the school level.

Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, in association with the Consulate of the Republic of Albania hosted the Indo-Albanian Discovery Challenge on Jan. 17, bringing together more than 200 students from over 30 schools across Delhi to learn, interact, and explore global perspectives through a quiz-based format.

The event was designed to promote cultural exchange and global awareness at the school level. The challenge was intended to encourage students to learn more about Albania, its culture, and the broader idea of international cooperation.

The occasion was attended by several distinguished dignitaries, including the Consul General of Albania to India, members of the CBSE Board Management, and the Principal of Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, Ram Singh, highlighting the growing importance of global exposure in contemporary education.

Speaking on the initiative, the Consul General of Albania to India, Dikshu C. Kukreja, said,

“Engaging students at a young age is one of the most meaningful ways to build bridges between nations.”

Senior official from the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, Anand Prakash, was also present at the event, underscoring the importance of people-to-people engagement and educational diplomacy in strengthening India’s international relationships.

The event concluded with interactions between students and dignitaries.

The Indo-Albanian Discovery Challenge was considered a meaningful step towards nurturing globally aware students and strengthening people-to-people connections between India and Albania.
