Shatabdi Sharma / Capacity
New Jersey-based third-party logistics provider Capacity has appointed Indian American executive Shatabdi Sharma as its chief information officer.
Sharma will lead Capacity’s global technology strategy and oversee engineering teams across the United States and India, as logistics providers increase investment in data, automation, and digital infrastructure to support complex retail and e-commerce distribution.
Her appointment comes as the company continues to expand its technology systems and infrastructure that support fulfillment operations.

Sharma brings more than two decades of experience in enterprise technology and business transformation across retail, consumer goods, and global supply chains.
She most recently served as brand technology leader for Calvin Klein at PVH Corp., where she led efforts to modernize the brand’s end-to-end value chain, from product design and development to delivery across a global supply chain.
At PVH, she also held roles as vice president of Global Application Services and director of Global Ecommerce, overseeing enterprise platforms supporting e-commerce, supply chain operations, and global business systems. Her work involved collaboration with retail partners including Macy’s, Nordstrom, and Zalando.
Earlier in her career, Sharma held technology leadership positions at Hitachi Consulting, Canon, Wegmans, and Home Depot, where she worked on modernizing enterprise resource planning, warehouse management, and order management systems across international operations.
“Capacity has built a strong foundation of operational expertise and institutional knowledge in fulfillment,” Sharma said. “My focus is on building the technology strategy that amplifies that strength by bringing together data, modern cloud infrastructure, and intelligent systems that allow us to scale while continuing to deliver transparency and efficiency for our partners.”
“Shatabdi brings a rare combination of enterprise technology leadership and hands-on supply chain experience,” said Jeff Kaiden, chief executive officer at Capacity. “Her perspective helps ensure our technology strategy continues to support the operational realities of fulfillment while positioning Capacity for the next generation of data-driven logistics.”
Sharma said the company would take a measured approach to adopting emerging technologies. “AI and automation present tremendous opportunities, but they must be implemented thoughtfully,” she said.
“At Capacity, we are focused on using technology to empower our teams and deliver better insights for our clients while maintaining strong governance and security practices,” she added.
Beyond her corporate role, Sharma is involved in mentorship and diversity initiatives in technology, including work with Extraordinary Women in Tech. She has received industry recognition such as the 2025 Top 20 Women We Admire Award and the ISG Women in Digital Silver Luminary Award.
Sharma holds a master of science in computer science from Utah State University and a bachelor of engineering in computer science from Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya.
