BAPS charities organizes food drive in Ontario

BAPS Charities organized a food drive in Scarborough, Ontario, on Dec. 12, 2025.

The organization donated over 5,300 pounds of non-perishable food items to Agincourt Community Services Association (ACSA). 

ACSA Senior Manager of Operations and Donor Engagement Eric Cheung expressed gratitude and said, “Thank you very much for supporting the ACSA Community Services Food Centre with your generous donation of more than 5,300 pounds of non-perishable food items."

Cheung added, "Your contribution comes at a time when community need continues to grow, and our staff, volunteers, and clients are deeply grateful for your commitment to ensuring that individuals and families facing food insecurity can access the support they require. Acts of generosity such as yours strengthen the very foundation of our work.”

Toronto City Councillor Michael Thompson,  posted on social media, “Grateful to BAPS Charities for their generosity this holiday season! Together, we supported our community with a donation of 5 tonnes of non-perishable food to Agincourt Community Services Association (ACSA), helping families and individuals experiencing food insecurity this Christmas." 

He added, "We encourage other businesses and organizations to step up and give back. Your support can make a real difference in our community.”
