Anand Deshpande to speak at Indiaspora Global AI Summit

Indiaspora has announced that Anand Deshpande, founder, chairman, and managing director of Persistent Systems, will be a featured speaker at its upcoming Global AI Summit.

The Indiaspora Global AI Summit, scheduled for March 25 in Bengaluru, aims to bring together global technology leaders, investors, policymakers, and innovators to discuss the rapidly evolving impact of artificial intelligence across industries.

The event is part of the broader Indiaspora Forum, which provides a platform for members of the global Indian diaspora to connect and collaborate on technology, policy, and social initiatives.

Deshpande, who founded Persistent Systems in 1990, has led the company’s growth from a startup into a publicly traded global technology firm focused on digital engineering and enterprise modernization.



His leadership and contributions to the technology sector have earned him several recognitions, including the 2023 EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Award in the Services category.

The summit will explore how AI is transforming industries such as healthcare, finance, education, and public policy.

The program will feature discussions on real-world AI deployment, innovation ecosystems, and opportunities for collaboration between global diaspora leaders and India’s growing technology sector.

Alongside Deshpande, the speaker lineup includes prominent figures from government, venture capital, and the technology industry, including Abhishek Singh, Patrick J. McGovern, Ray Wang, TK Kurien, and Vani Kola.
