Organized by Shri Vishwa Niketan the event is held once every five years, as a forum for senior functionaries and volunteers associated with Hindu organizations worldwide to reconnect, exchange experiences and reflect on organisational and societal responsibilities.

The inaugural session was graced by Govind Dev Giri, treasurer of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Nyas, Ayodhya. The keynote address was delivered by Dattatreya Hosabale, Sarkaryawah of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

The session was attended by Daaji, Global Spiritual Guide of the Heartfulness Movement, and was presided over by Banwarilal Purohit, president of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and former Governor of Assam, Punjab and Tamil Nadu.

Welcoming the participants, Shyam Parande, secretary of Shri Vishwa Niketan, said the Vishwa Sangh Shibir provides an opportunity for karyakartas from different parts of the world to renew bonds and reinforce collective resolve.

“This is not merely an event, but a joyful and purposeful congregation that reinforces our shared vision and commitment,” he said.

Addressing the gathering, Dattatreya Hosabale called upon karyakartas of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh and other Hindu organizations to live and act according to Dharma, irrespective of the country they reside in.

He said Hindu civilization has historically spread its influence through knowledge, philosophy, culture and harmonious coexistence with nature and society, rather than through force. He added that service to society and care for nature remain central to the Sangh’s vision.

Speaking on the Shibir theme, “Dharme Sarvam Pratisthitam,” Govind Dev Giri said Dharma provides balance and stability in life. He noted that without Dharma there can be neither peace nor development, and that Dharma ensures both Abhyudaya, or material prosperity, and Nishreyas, or inner fulfilment.

Saumitra Gokhale, global coordinator of the Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh, described the Shibir as a gathering of karyakarta families committed to practising and advancing Hindu Dharma across the world. Siddhesh Shevade, Shibir Karyavah, introduced the dignitaries present on the dais.

During the inaugural session, a souvenir magazine based on the Shibir theme was released. Four books authored by Ratan Sharda, documenting the history of Hindu Sangathan work in different countries through research and interviews, were also unveiled.

In addition, two books authored by Daaji, The Heart of Lord Ram and Holy Tirthankars, were released.

The globally sung Vishwa Prarthana, a signature prayer at Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh events worldwide, was released in a special musical rendering by Shankar Mahadevan, composed and directed by Rahul Ranade.

A thematic video based on the recording, accompanied by a philharmonic orchestra, was also unveiled.

The Shibir programme includes lectures, panel discussions and interactive sessions centred on Dharma as the foundation of individual, societal and global well-being.

A Sarvajanik Karyakram is scheduled to be held on Dec. 28 at Kanha Shanti Vanam, where RSS Sarsanghchalak  Mohan Bhagwat and Daaji will address the gathering. Krishna Ella, Founder of Bharat Biotech, will attend the public function as the chief guest.
