Jain, the co-founder and CEO of CarePal and ImpactGuru, worked to build an ecosystem that supports patients in need of urgent and long-term healthcare funding. Through innovative models that blend crowdfunding, insurance, lending, and pharma partnerships, Jain’s ventures have helped bridge critical gaps in India’s healthcare financing system.

In his acceptance remarks, Jain expressed gratitude to his co-founders Khushboo Jain and Vikas Kaul, the senior leadership, over 850 employees, and a wide network of hospitals, doctors, insurance and lending partners, donors, and patients. He also acknowledged the support of investors and mentors who believed in their mission.

“I am immensely thankful to our investors, who believed in our vision and provided the foundation for our growth. I also extend my deepest thanks to the hospitals, doctors, pharma companies, insurance partners, lending partners, patients, their families and our donors whose unwavering support has been pivotal in our success,” Jain said in a LinkedIn post.

Jain credited the Harvard Innovation Labs, where ImpactGuru was incubated, for nurturing the foundational ideas behind the venture. He also thanked professor John Haigh of HKS for his mentorship and expressed appreciation to dean Jeremy Weinstein and the HKS alumni board for the honor.

“While this award is a great recognition of our achievements over the last decade, I firmly believe we are just getting started. We must keep going and work tirelessly towards our mission of helping a million people by 2030. We’re energized to push the boundaries of innovation in healthcare. Here’s to the road ahead and the changemakers who inspire us daily,” Jain added.

Jain earned his bachelors of science degree from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and masters in public policy from HKS.
