Lohana Association of DFW (LADFW) hosted a celebration of Jalaram Jayanti and its annual Diwali Snehmilan at Radha Shyam Dham temple in Irving, Texas, this past weekend.
The event brought together over 200 community members for an evening of devotion, togetherness, and joy. The program began with a Jalaram pooja performed by a priest, during which the members offered prayers and made offerings.
Children participated in art competitions, joyfully coloring pictures of Jalaram Bapa. Every young artist received a prize in recognition of their creativity and enthusiasm. Following the bhajans, guests enjoyed a delicious Gujarati dinner.

The guests included Anandbhai Pabari and the family of India Bazaar and Rajula’s Kitchen, who have been pillars of LADFW since its inception.
The event was also attended by SEWA International, IANT (India Association of North Texas), DFW Gujarati Samaj, VYO (Vallabh Youth Organization), as well as the Frisco City Councilman and a past FISD trustee, reflecting the deep ties LADFW shares across the wider North Texas Community.
The efforts of LADFW volunteers and committee members brought this memorable event to life, demonstrating their dedication, teamwork, and service in bringing the community together with love and unity every year.
