Indian-origin students win startup award at UT Dallas

The inaugural awards highlight early-stage student ventures addressing gaps in various sectors.

Three students of Indian origin are among 10 recipients of the inaugural Startup Founders Award launched by The University of Texas at Dallas, a $5,000 grant aimed at accelerating student-led ventures through its innovation and entrepreneurship programs.

The award, funded by the Draper Foundation, is open each semester to student startups connected to the Naveen Jindal School of Management’s entrepreneurship initiatives. The first cohort includes six undergraduate- and four graduate-led companies.
