The United States has successfully attacked three nuclear sites in Iran, President Donald Trump announced on June 21, adding to the new dimension of the ongoing Israel-Iranian war in the Middle East.
“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space,” Trump said on Truth Social, a social media platform owned by him. The president is scheduled to deliver an address to the nation later in the night.
“A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this,” Trump said as he called for peace.
Stating that he will be giving an address to the Nation at 10:00 P.M., at the White House, regarding America’s very successful military operation in Iran, Trump asserted that this is an “HISTORIC MOMENT FOR THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ISRAEL, AND THE WORLD.”

Iran, he asserted, now "must agree" to end this war.
According to The Wall Street Journal, earlier on June 21, US officials said multiple B-2 stealth bombers had left their base in Missouri and were heading west over the Pacific. The bombers can carry giant “bunker busting” bombs, the daily reported. Earlier, Iran had threatened to retaliate and attack the American installations and interests across the world, if the US was to attack them.

“The strikes mark the most significant U.S. military attack on Iran in modern history and will have a defining impact on the legacy of Trump’s second term in office,” Politico reported.
According to The New York Times, Fordo is Iran’s most heavily fortified nuclear site and one that is central to any effort to destroy Iran’s ability to make nuclear weapons.
