Todi’s Place of Hope, a 20-bed short-term supportive housing facility, has opened in Lansdale to address homelessness in Montgomery County.
The year-round center will provide transitional housing and wraparound services, including behavioral health support, employment resources and housing placement assistance. It will be operated by Resources for Human Development.
The project was supported by a $1 million contribution from Nand and Shashi Todi through the Todi Foundation.

In a statement, PARAM, the Philadelphia Rajasthani Mandal, congratulated Nand Todi, the Todi Foundation and Montgomery County community leaders on the opening.
Beyond their work in the United States, the Todi family has established educational and charitable institutions in Jaipur, India, and created Nand Bhawan and Shashi Bhawan at Apna Ghar Ashram in Bharatpur, Rajasthan. Additional initiatives under Apna Ghar serve homeless, vulnerable and underprivileged communities.
PARAM also congratulated the Montgomery County commissioners, local officials, Resources for Human Development and other partners involved in the project.
