Indian-American healthcare entrepreneur Pooja Ika is set to deliver the keynote address at the annual Vidyabharati Gala on July 12.
The event will be held at the Boston Marriott Burlington and is expected to bring together community leaders, educators, philanthropists and business executives to support educational initiatives aimed at improving access to quality education for girls in India.

Ika, a Babson College graduate, founded Massachusetts-based eternalHealth at age 24, and serves as itsCEO. The company provides Medicare Advantage health plans and has gained recognition for its focus on transparency, technology-driven services and affordability.
Organizers described her as one of the youngest women of color to establish and lead a certified health insurance provider in the United States.
Vidyabharati, an international nonprofit organization focused on educational development and social mobility, said this year’s gala will emphasize leadership, equity and expanding opportunities for underserved communities.
According to Vidyabharati, Ika’s keynote address will draw on her experience building a company in the healthcare sector while advocating for diversity, women’s leadership and educational access.
She is expected to discuss challenges faced by young entrepreneurs, strategies for entering established industries and the role of education in advancing economic opportunity.
Mona Chopra, a member of the gala’s executive organizing committee, said Ika’s achievements and commitment to educational causes align closely with the organization’s mission.
"We are profoundly privileged to host Pooja Ika as our distinguished keynote speaker for this year's gala framework. Her rapid ascent within a tightly legacy bound sector is clear validation of what brave, values driven leadership can execute,” Chopra said in a statement.
Founded to promote academic development and cultural preservation, Vidyabharati works to expand access to education and leadership opportunities for underserved students through a range of educational programs and initiatives.
Funds raised through the event will support programs designed to improve literacy, learning resources and educational outcomes for young women in rural and suburban regions of India.
