Ohio’s Sandeep Dixit joins independent coalition targeting 2-party control

Indian American architect and technology executive Sandeep Dixit, who is running as an independent for the U.S. House of Representatives from Ohio’s 13th Congressional District has joined a coordinated coalition seeking to challenge the dominance of the two-party system.
The group, called the Independent Candidate Network (ICN), includes 19 independent congressional candidates across the country along with Dixit. Together they aim to win between 5-10 seats in 2026 in order to prevent either major party from holding unilateral control in the chamber.
