The Indian American Impact, a Indian and South Asian empowerment community organization, has formally endorsed Pennsylvania State Representative Arvind Venkat in his re-election bid.
Venkat, who is running a campaign centered around affordability, healthcare, and public service, is vying for a third term in office after having previously won 2022 and again in 2024.
The Indian American Impact put its weight behind the Democratic candidate and remarked, "We’re proud to endorse @VenkatforPA for re-election to the Pennsylvania State House D-30! A physician and experienced public health leader, Arvind is focused on lowering healthcare costs, strengthening public education, and continuing to deliver results for working families."

Venkat, the first Indian American in the Pennsylvania State House, is the only physician and the only immigrant/naturalized citizen currently holding state or federal elected office in Pennsylvania.
