OFBJP UK to host Diaspora Connect event with Piyush Goyal
The organizers have invited members of the Indian community in the UK to attend and engage with the Commerce Minister.

The Overseas Friends of BJP-UK (OFBJP UK) will host a diaspora focussed event with India's Commerce and Industry Minister, Piyush Goyal, on June 27, 2026, in Harrow, London.
The event aims to bring together members of the Indian diaspora to connect, collaborate, and contribute toward "a stronger India and a progressive world."
Inviting members of the Indian diaspora to attend, OFBJP UK said on X, "Overseas Friends of BJP UK (OFBJP UK) warmly invites you to an exclusive “Indian Diaspora Connect” with Piyuh Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry."
It further said, "Engage in a discussion on India’s economic growth, global trade, investment opportunities & the role of the diaspora in strengthening India–UK ties."

The event will be free to attend but community members are required to register with OFBJP UK and reserve their seats.
The organizers described the event as a unique opportunity to hear directly from the Minister about India’s economic growth, trade, investment opportunities, and engagement with the global Indian diaspora and India UK Free Trade Agreement, followed by an interactive discussion.
The event will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Kenton Hall, Woodcock Hill, Harrow (HA3 0PQ).
