Players from USA's T20 World cup squad / ICC T20 World Cup
The United States Cricket board has announced its 15-member squad for the 2026 T-20 World Cup, featuring 10 Indian-origin players.
The squad, led by Monank Patel, will mark their second appearance at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, having reached the Super 8 stage on debut in 2024. This year's inclusion is more special for the team after its 2025 suspension over serious breaches of the ICC Membership Criteria.
Bouncing back from the setback, team U.S.A. has made required course corrections and is now all set for the T20 World Cup to be held in India and Sri Lanka starting on Feb. 7. It will play its opening match against co-hosts India in Mumbai, on Feb. 7.

The U.S. team looks to become a giant-killer in its opening match, repeating its stunner from the last T20 World Cup, where it defeated Pakistan and made it to the Super Eight stage.
Apart from skipper Patel, the squad will also feature Indian-origin players Vice Captain Jessy Singh, Shehan Jayasuriya, Milind Kumar, Shayan Jahangir, Saiteja Mukkamala, Sanjay Krishnamurthi, Harmeet Singh, Saurabh Netravalkar and Shubham Ranjane, apart from other players Nosthush Kenjige, Shadley van Schalkwyk, Ali Khan, Mohammad Mohsin and Andries Gous.
In preparation for the world cup, the squad has trained for several weeks in Sri Lanka, gaining significant experience in sub-continent conditions. They are placed in Group A alongside arch-rivals India and Pakistan, as well as Namibia and the Netherlands.
