Kulvir S. Brar, an Indian-origin liquor store owner in the United States, was arrested by the Vancouver Police Department in Washington State on March 13 on 39 charges related to trafficking, drugs, and sexual exploitation of minors.
The investigation into this case began in July 2025 after authorities received information on an adult male allegedly engaging in sexual activity with underage females in exchange for drugs, vapes, and alcohol.
Brar was first apprehended during a traffic stop and taken into custody on Dec. 4, 2025. Authorities executed a search warrant at his residence at The Columbia at the Waterfront.
He has been charged with two counts of first-degree trafficking, three counts of second-degree trafficking, one count of third-degree rape of a child, one count of second-degree rape, one count of third-degree rape, one count of third-degree child molestation, and three counts of commercial sex abuse of a minor.
Brar’s charges also include one Count of Sexual exploitation of a minor, two counts of first-degree possession of depictions of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct, three counts of second-degree possession of depictions of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct, five counts of communicating with a minor for immoral purposes, and five counts of distributing a controlled substance to a minor.
Three counts of possessing a controlled substance with intent to sell to a minor, one count of assault, four counts of sexual motivation, three counts of supplying liquor to a minor, and four counts of selling or giving tobacco or vapor product to a minor were also added to the charges.
Investigators from the Vancouver Police Department believe there could be additional juvenile victims who were targeted by Brar and have asked the public to come forward if they have any relevant information about the case.
