Vikrant Thakur has been charged with murder after his wife, Supriya Thakur, 36, was found dead at a residence in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, Australia, on Dec. 21.
Authorities said that emergency services were called to the residence at Northfield around 8:30 p.m. following reports of a domestic assault, according to ABC News.

Police arrived to find the 36-year-old victim unconscious, and despite attempts to revive her through CPR, she could not be revived.
Reports have suggested that Supriya, who had aspirations of becoming a registered nurse, leaves behind a teenage son.
Vikrant was reportedly arrested at the scene and has been charged with murder.
The 41-year-old Indian appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Dec 22. but did not seek bail.
Prosecutors asked the court to adjourn the matter for 16 weeks as they await evidence, including a post-mortem report, toxicology, and DNA results.
Vikrant is expected to remain in custody and not due to return to court until at least April next year.
