Easing direct trade access between Indian exporters and U.S. importers, the Consulate General of India in New York has announced the creation of the India U.S. Trade Facilitation Portal.
Going live at the end of this month, the portal will facilitate trade in both goods and services.

The Consulate also noted that the “Buyer-Seller Module” will be ready by March 10, allowing buyers and sellers to register for its services.
Apart from acting as a bridge between exporters and importers, the portal would also highlight state- and sector-specific goods and services, MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises), and ODOP (One District One Product) goods.
The Consulate General of India in New York has also invited participants to attend webinars to address concerns about the portal.
