In a surprising but strategic suggestion, Mukesh Aghi, president of the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF), has urged the Indian government to nominate U.S. President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, echoing a similar official nomination made by Pakistan last month.

“India should go ahead and nominate President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize,” Aghi said in an exclusive interview, reacting to Trump’s repeated assertions that he played a role in brokering peace between India and Pakistan following the Pahalgam terrorist attack and a brief four-day military standoff.
