"Out of 108 dazzling contestants from around the globe, four continental winners were crowned during the evening, each securing a fast-track spot in the 72nd Miss World Festival Quarterfinals," the Miss World Organization said in an official statement.

Gupta, 21, from Kota, Rajasthan, was selected for her poise, confidence, and runway presence. She was joined by Selma Kamanya of Namibia (Africa), Aurélie Joachim of Martinique (Americas and Caribbean), and Jasmine Gerhardt of Ireland (Europe) as continental winners.

The fashion event celebrated Indian craftsmanship, with contestants wearing ensembles curated by designer Archana Kochhar. The designs featured traditional handloom textiles, including Pochampally, Gadwal, and Gollabhama weaves, showcasing Hyderabad’s cultural legacy as the “City of Pearls.”

Crowned Femina Miss India World 2023, Gupta has been a vocal advocate for Indian handlooms, particularly Kota Doriya, a fabric native to her hometown. She also leads ‘Project Ekta,’ an initiative aimed at fostering acceptance and respect for people with special needs.

Born in September 2003 in Kaithun, near Kota, Gupta completed her schooling at St. Paul’s Senior Secondary School and is currently pursuing a degree in business management at Lala Lajpat Rai College in Mumbai.

With the Sports Challenge, Talent Challenge, Top Model, and Head-to-Head Challenge rounds already completed, ten contestants have qualified for the Top 40 so far. The remaining slots will be filled based on performances in the ongoing competitions, including the Beauty with a Purpose round. The Miss World 2025 Grand Finale is scheduled for May 31 at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad.
