IACCGH to honor Bal Sareen, Milton Thibodeaux at Houston gala
The event will be held at Hilton Americas-Houston and will also recognize Sunny Bathija, Tina Khatri and William T. Harris with the chamber's annual awards.

The Indo-American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston (IACCGH) will honor entrepreneurs Bal Sareen and Milton Thibodeaux with business honors at its Annual Gala & Awards Banquet on August 29.
Sareen, founder of Brask Inc., will receive a special recognition separate from IACCGH's four Annual Awards. The honor recognizes his entrepreneurial journey, contributions to the petrochemical industry and longstanding involvement in the Greater Houston community.
A former educator and engineer, Sareen founded Brask Inc. and developed the company into a manufacturer and service provider for the petrochemical sector. Beyond his business career, he has supported cultural, charitable and community initiatives in Houston, including the Bal and Rita Sareen Clinic at India House Houston, which provides accessible healthcare services.

Thibodeaux will receive the Business Advocate of the Year Award for his work supporting small, minority and diverse businesses and helping expand their access to procurement opportunities.
Through the Greater Houston Business Procurement Forum, which he established in 1991, Thibodeaux has brought together businesses, corporations, government agencies and institutions to strengthen connections and create opportunities across the region.
“These honorees represent the entrepreneurial spirit, leadership and commitment to community that have helped make Houston one of the world’s great business cities. We are proud to recognize their accomplishments and the impact they continue to make across our region,” said Rajiv Bhavsar,president of IACCGH.
Established in 1999, IACCGH works to strengthen business and economic ties between Greater Houston and India while connecting businesses, professionals, government leaders and institutions.
