FBI arrested six most-wanted fugitives in one year: Kash Patel
The six individuals were from the agency’s “Ten Most Wanted Fugitives” list.

Kash Patel, director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, said the agency captured six of its most-wanted fugitives in a single calendar year under President Donald Trump, marking a record number of high-profile arrests.
Speaking at a press conference, Patel said working with the Department of Justice and international partners, FBI apprehended six individuals from the agency’s “Ten Most Wanted Fugitives” list in one year, a total he said exceeded the number of such captures during the previous administration.

“And what do we do when President Trump said, go get the worst of the worst? We captured him,” Patel said. “We captured together, under President Trump’s leadership, six of the FBI’s most wanted fugitives in one calendar year.”
Patel said the arrests reflected an intensified enforcement push targeting violent criminals and terrorism suspects. “You cannot do that alone at the FBI,” he said, adding that successful prosecutions required a Justice Department willing to pursue suspects globally.
His remarks followed the arrest of an alleged key participant in the Sept. 11, 2012, attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya. Authorities said the suspect, identified as Bakoush, was transferred into U.S. custody to face federal charges.
“If you kill an American citizen in an act of terrorism, we will hunt you down,” Patel said, warning that the United States would pursue those responsible “to the four corners of the earth.”
