DFW Kadva Patidar Samaj hosts grand Diwali

More than 275 members attended the Diwali gathering organized by DFW Kadva Patidar Samaj, featuring devotional rituals, cultural performances, community honors, and traditional Garba festivities.

The DFW Kadva Patidar Samaj hosted its annual Diwali celebration with a large-scale community gathering that drew more than 275 members, blending devotion, tradition, and entertainment.

Held at the Grand Center banquet hall, the evening opened with a prayer ceremony dedicated to Jagatjanani Mata, followed by the singing of national anthems.

Attendees lit traditional diyas before the organization formally recognized distinguished guests and community elders for their contributions.

Leaders of the DFW Gujarati Samaj and long-time patrons of the Kadva Patidar community were felicitated for their service and support. The recognition ceremony emphasized the Samaj’s commitment to honoring its elders while encouraging younger generations to sustain cultural traditions.

The cultural segment featured performances by children and adults, including classical dance routines, tabla recitals, and renditions of traditional 'Dohas' (couplets). The artistic program showcased the community’s engagement with its cultural roots and the enthusiasm of participants across generations.

Renowned radio host RJ Vaibhav Sheth served as master of ceremonies, leading interactive activities and couple games that energized the audience. The event also included a traditional feast, offering attendees an opportunity to connect over Gujarati cuisine and conversation.

The night concluded with an extended Garba-Raas session, with members taking to the dance floor to celebrate the spirit of Diwali.

Organizers described the event as part of a long-standing tradition of Diwali gatherings within the Kadva Patidar Samaj.
