Pennsylvania State Rep. Arvind Venkat offered an invocation from the Isha Upanishad at the State House on March 25.
Describing the Isha Upanishad as a “Hindu text that delves into the knowledge of the self,” Venkat noted that the invocation held special significance as this year marks the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Sri Venkateswara Temple in Penn Hills.
