Abraham George credits county chairs for successful Texas primaries
He also asked the county chairs to state things that worked well in their respective counties.

The Republican Party of Texas Chairman, Abraham George, expressed his gratitude to county chairs throughout the state on March 7, acknowledging their contributions to the successful March 2026 primaries.
“To our County Chairs across Texas - thank you,” he wrote in a detailed post on X, highlighting the broad participation that drove turnout across Texas.

Praising county chairs, he wrote, "From the largest counties to the smallest," they had helped "deliver a successful Republican primary," and that their leadership and organization had "made it possible for Republicans across Texas" to show up and make their voices heard.
“One thing I believe strongly is that the best ideas in our party don’t come from Austin — they come from the grassroots in our counties,” George said, emphasizing the value of local leadership over top-down approaches.
Looking ahead to the upcoming State Convention and the November general election, the chairman invited county chairs to contribute directly to party strategy. “As we move forward toward the State Convention and the November election, I’d love to hear from you,” he wrote.
“When our counties share ideas and support each other, the entire Republican Party of Texas grows stronger. Let’s stay focused, stay united, and let’s win in November," he added.
George’s message arrives as the party transitions from primary competition to unified support for nominees ahead of the fall election cycle.
