3rd Annual Indian Food Festival returns to Monument

Colorado-based Indian culinary school, Polka Dots and Curry is organising its 3rd Annual Indian Food festival. 

Scheduled for August 2, at Lewis Palmer High School in Monument, the festival promises a dynamic showcase of Indian cuisine, culture, and community, a press statement said. 

Running from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (local time), the event will feature a wide array of regional Indian dishes, alongside a curry cook-off competition, Indian folk dances, a saree-themed fashion walk, free mehndi (henna) art, and raffle prizes.

Culinary vendors and experts from across Colorado Springs and Denver will be present, offering festival-goers a chance to discover traditional and fusion Indian foods.

A VIP Early Access Hour from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. is available with tickets starting at $12.50.

Founded by Monika Celly in 2017, Polka Dots and Curry has been offering Indian cooking classes in Colorado Springs and is now expanding its cultural outreach through this annual community event that showcases Indian cuisine, culture, and arts.
