Eko Health, a California-based AI-powered cardiac and pulmonary care company, has named Indian-American physician Ankeet S. Bhatt to its expanded clinical advisory board.
Bhatt will contribute to strategic guidance on clinical research, inform product development, and support efforts to expand equitable access to AI-powered disease detection tools.

A cardiologist, intensivist, and clinical investigator, Bhatt serves as a research scientist at the division of research at Kaiser Permanente Northern California and as an associate physician at the Kaiser San Francisco Medical Center. He is also an adjunct professor at Stanford University School of Medicine. His expertise spans cardio-renal-metabolic disease, clinical trials, heart failure, cardiogenic shock, and implementation and care delivery science.
With more than 60 peer-reviewed publications and presentations at major national and international scientific congresses, Bhatt has established himself as a prominent voice in the advancement of cardiovascular care. He currently serves as section editor of implementation and care delivery science for the Journal of Cardiac Failure.
A University of Connecticut graduate, Bhatt earned both his doctor of medicine and master of business administration through a joint program. He completed his residency at Duke University Hospital, followed by fellowships in cardiovascular diseases and critical care medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He also earned a master of science in epidemiology from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, completing a two-year research fellowship under leading cardiovascular scientists.
