Dr. Pratibha Sharma, an internationally recognized figure in biomedical engineering and a transformative voice in the field of congestive heart failure (CHF) research, has joined the South Asian Community Health Initiative (SACHI).
Dr. Sharma’s tenure at the University of Colorado at Boulder has yielded a portfolio of research that fundamentally changes how CHF is detected and managed. Her pioneering work integrates cutting-edge computational signal processing, wavelet analysis, and machine learning to uncover early warning signs of heart failure within complex electrocardiogram (ECG) and phonocardiogram data.
