The Coalition of Hindus of North America (CoHNA) announced the launch of a new initiative to build a network of Hindu creative professionals aged 35 and under across the United States and Canada.

The program named the Hindu Youth Public Engagement program, or HYPE, seeks participants with skills in content creation, graphic design, social media, copywriting, ideation, and marketing to help design public campaigns and strengthen Hindu engagement in online spaces.

CoHNA said participants will also have opportunities to “ideate campaigns, expand marketing skills, and gain career-building perks such as certificates and letters of recommendation.”

In addition to hands-on project experience, the initiative aims to help young professionals grow their portfolios while contributing to digital advocacy and community representation.

Founded as a grassroots advocacy and civil rights organisation, CoHNA already operates youth-focused initiatives such as the CoHNA Youth Action Network (CYAN), which empowers young Hindus aged 18–35 to become campus and community advocates, build networks, and challenge anti-Hindu bias and misinformation.

The launch of HYPE comes as CoHNA expands its focus on digital and creative outreach, recognising that younger generations of Hindu Americans and Canadians are increasingly shaping cultural narratives online.

Applications for the program are now open. Eligible youth under 35 in the U.S. and Canada can apply by emailing marketing@cohna.org
