Chicago Indo US Lions Club hosts networking event

Over 400 entrepreneurs, professionals and community leaders attended the event in Roselle, Illinois.

The Chicago Indo US Lions Club, in partnership with Pearl Banquets, hosted a business networking event on Feb. 28 in Roselle, Illinois, bringing together entrepreneurs, business professionals, volunteers, sponsors and community leaders.

The event was organized to encourage professional collaboration and partnerships across industries within the Indo-US community and the wider Illinois business landscape.

More than 20 business booths were set up at the venue, and organizers said the gathering was attended by over 400 participants.

Entrepreneurs and business owners used the platform to present their services, discuss industry trends and connect with other professionals and local leaders. The setting allowed both emerging ventures and established businesses to interact directly and expand professional networks.

Several local elected officials attended the gathering, signaling support for small businesses and regional economic development. The club also received congratulatory letters and video messages from Alexi Giannoulias, JB Pritzker, Maria Pappas, and Raja Krishnamoorthi. 

In their messages, they commended the Chicago Indo US Lions Club for supporting small business development and community initiatives.

Club president Lion Kishan said the event reflected the community’s collaborative spirit. “We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every entrepreneur, professional, volunteer, and sponsor who contributed to making this evening such a remarkable success.Your participation, collaboration, and unwavering support demonstrate the true spirit of unity and service that defines our organization. Together, we are building stronger business connections and an even stronger community,” he said.

Founder president Lion Hina Trivedi thanked volunteers, sponsors and participants for supporting the initiative. 

“It is deeply inspiring to witness our community come together with such enthusiasm and purpose. I sincerely thank our dedicated volunteers, generous sponsors, business participants, and honored guests for their commitment and trust. Events like this reflect our shared vision of growth, service, and lasting partnerships,” she said.

Organizers said the event was supported by several sponsors and volunteers. Raj Jayara of Pearl Banquets hosted the event at the venue. Volunteers from Sewa International USA assisted with event coordination. 

The club also acknowledged the collaboration of Atul Wahi, president of the United Punjabi Association, and his team, along with club member Sudhir Sakhuja for assisting with preparations.

The Chicago Indo US Lions Club is a service-oriented organization that supports humanitarian initiatives while promoting business networking, cultural engagement and philanthropic activities in the United States and India.
