Anna Menon was included in NASA's (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) list of 10 new astronaut candidates, as part of the 2025 Astronaut Candidate Class, on Sept. 22.
Menon, along with nine others, was selected following a competitive selection process of more than 8,000 applicants from across the United States. The selected individuals will now undergo nearly two years of training before becoming eligible for flight assignments supporting future science and exploration missions to low Earth orbit, the Moon, and Mars.
