Anand Chandarana / Essity
Anand Chandarana, of Indian origin has joined Essity, a hygiene and health company as President of its Business Unit Health & Medical. He will take charge on Sep.1, 2025, and join the company’s Executive Management Team.
Chandarana has been with Essity since 2020 and most recently served as Vice President of Commercial Development within the Health & Medical unit. Before joining Essity, he worked for 17 years at Mölnlycke Health Care, holding several senior roles in the medical solutions sector.

Chandarana will report directly to Kolsrud. He holds citizenship in both the United Kingdom and Sweden and will be based in Gothenburg.
Essity’s Health & Medical division develops and markets products across categories such as incontinence care, wound care, compression therapy and orthopedics. Its portfolio includes brands like TENA, Leukoplast, Cutimed, Hydrofera BLUE, JOBST, Delta-Cast and Actimove.
