Amol Dhargalkar, an Indian-American finance executive and Managing Partner at Chatham Financial, has joined the Board of Directors of APIA Scholars, the Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit announced on July 28.
Dhargalkar, who also serves as board chair at Chatham Financial, brings 25 years of experience in capital markets to the organization. Over his career, he has advised some of the world’s largest companies and institutional investors, with a focus on derivatives and debt capital markets strategy.
He holds dual bachelor’s degrees in chemical engineering and economics from The Pennsylvania State University, and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was named a Palmer Scholar.
Dr. Noël Harmon, president and executive director of APIA Scholars, said the board is looking forward to Dhargalkar’s involvement. “We are honored to welcome Amol to the Board,” she said. “His expertise in strategic leadership and finance will be invaluable as we continue to build an organization that moves our mission forward.”
