Americans 4 Hindus (A4H), has launched a six-week political training initiative aimed at equipping members of the Hindu-American community with the tools to engage meaningfully in public life.
The program, titled Rajneeti Academy, began on June 8 and will continue every Sunday until July 13. The inaugural session was attended by Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL), who addressed participants virtually and emphasized the importance of civic participation, representation, and leadership within minority communities.

The session, held in person at the Vedic Dharma Samaj Fremont Hindu Temple and streamed live online, included an orientation and interactive discussions about entering public service.
“Amazing start of A4H Rajneeti Academy,” the organization wrote in a social media post following the launch. “Attendees gathered in different conference rooms across the country for a unique hybrid experience and listened to inspiring speeches as well as critical details about why and what about engaging in public service.”
Open to all regardless of age or political affiliation, the program runs weekly from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM PST and is offered free of charge. The training combines classroom-style instruction with practical engagement, including opportunities to shadow elected officials, understand campaign strategy, and build public speaking and policy advocacy skills.
Speakers over the six-week period include a diverse bipartisan lineup of public officials such as U.S. Representatives Suhas Subramanyam and Shri Thanedar, California State Assembly members Patrick Ahrens and Alex Lee, several city mayors, and Renu Nair, the youngest woman elected to public office in the United States.
The Rajneeti Academy builds on a pilot held in April 2024, which drew over 50 participants and featured local elected officials sharing their public service journeys. Now in its second iteration, the academy represents a broader strategic effort by A4H to cultivate political literacy and leadership within the growing Hindu-American diaspora.
Established in 2019, Americans 4 Hindus is a nonpartisan platform dedicated to increasing civic participation and political representation for Hindu and pro-Hindu voices. The organization launched a New Jersey chapter earlier this year and is working to expand its reach across multiple states.
