After hosting football star Cristiano Ronaldo at the White House recently, US President Donald Trump on Nov. 20 posted on Insta a video showing him playing football in White House with Ronaldo. Only, the video is a fake -- an artificial intelligence (AI)-generated video.
The video shows the two playing short dribbles and picks in what is the Oval Office. It includes a ‘shot’ of Trump spinning around the heels to intercept the ball and kick it at the viewer.

The video’s captioned: Shooting stars.
Trump writes: “Ronaldo is a GREAT GUY. Loved meeting him at the White House. Really smart, and cool!!!”
The video has notched up millions of views and thousands of responses.
One person says: "Haters will say it's AI."
Another comments: "I really thought this was a meme page. This is the president of the USA. Lol."
Ronaldo, on his part, stuck to a real picture of him with Trump on his social media site. The photo shows a sitting President flanked by the footballer and his “future wife”, Georgina Rodriguez.

The star wrote, “Thank you, Mr President for your invitation and for the warm welcome you and the First Lady gave me and my future wife, @georginagio. Each of us has something meaningful to give, and I stand ready to do my part as we inspire new generations to build a future defined by courage, responsibility and lasting peace."
Trump and Ronaldo met at a state dinner for visiting Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman. The President described his youngest son, Barron, as a “big fan” of Ronaldo.
