AI boom leaving workers ‘psychologically tormented’: Deedy Das

The investor said many software engineers felt their skills were becoming irrelevant amid rapid AI adoption

Indian-origin venture capitalist Deedy Das said Silicon Valley’s artificial intelligence boom is “psychologically” tormenting many tech workers.

In a widely circulated social media post, Das wrote, “It psychologically torments many who have moved here in search of ‘success’,” as he described growing anxiety, layoffs and uncertainty gripping San Francisco’s tech industry amid the rapid rise of artificial intelligence.
