The Indian and U.S. armies wrapped up the 21st edition of their bilateral exercise Yudh Abhyas on Sept. 14 in Alaska, completing two weeks of drills designed to sharpen interoperability in one of the world’s most challenging terrains.
The exercise, conducted from Sept. 1 to 14 at Fort Wainwright and the Yukon Training Area, brought together roughly 450 Indian soldiers from a battalion of the Madras Regiment and troops from the U.S. Army’s 11th Airborne Division.
