ગુજરાતને પ્રથમ અમૃત ભારત એક્સપ્રેસ ટ્રેન મળી છે, જે સુરતના ઉધનાથી ઓડિશાના બ્રહ્મપુર સુધી સાપ્તાહિક ધોરણે દોડશે. આજે એટલે કે 27 સપ્ટેમ્બરના રોજ વડાપ્રધાન નરેન્દ્ર મોદી વર્ચ્યુઅલી જોડાઈને આ ટ્રેનને લીલી ઝંડી આપી હતી. ત્યારે સુરતના ઉધના રેલવે સ્ટેશન ખાતે રેલવે મંત્રી અશ્વિની વૈષ્ણવ હાજર રહ્યા હતા. ગુજરાતની પ્રથમ અમૃત ભારત એક્સપ્રેસ ટ્રેન ઉધના સ્ટેશનથી રવાના થઈ, 30 કલાકની સફર કરીને ઉધનાથી બ્રહ્મપુર પહોંચશે.
