Mahalaya marks the beginning of Devi Paksha, as we invoke Goddess Durga’s descent to earth amidst the soulful chants of Mahishasur Mardini and the resonance of conch shells.
This year, Mahalaya is being brought to you through a special collaboration between Dakshini, BASC, and BSSW.
In addition to celebrating this auspicious occasion together, this initiative also serves as a meaningful way to support our temple, BSSW, which is in urgent need of assistance to help maintain its facilities and cover essential operational expenses.

Tea & Snacks: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Mahishasur Mardini Recital: 10:00 AM – 11:45 AM
Short Break: 11:45 AM – 12:00 PM
Vocal & Instrumental Performance: 12:00 PM – 12:20 PM
Group Dance – "Jaago Ma": 12:30 PM – 12:50 PM
Cultural Program: 12:50 PM – 1:00 PM
Lunch: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM
