Anirudh lends voice to official Men's T20 World Cup song

The song, Feel the Thrill, was released ahead of the tournament to be held in India and Sri Lanka

The International Cricket Council has unveiled the official song for the upcoming Men's T20 World Cup  composed and sung by Indian musician  Anirudh Ravichander.

The track, titled Feel the Thrill, was unveiled globally as the musical identity of the competition, which is scheduled to be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka from Feb. 7 to March 8 and will feature 20 teams competing in 55 matches.

“Every cheer, every silence, every heartbeat connects in the same tune when it comes to cricket. It’s a feeling, an emotion,” Ravichander said, adding that the song aims to bring global fans together beyond on-field rivalries.

The song reflects the tournament’s campaign theme, Feel the Thrill, capturing the intensity, emotion and competitiveness associated with T20 cricket. 

According to the ICC, the track aims to mirror the high-energy nature of the event, with lyrics and beats designed to resonate with cricket fans across regions. 

ICC chief executive officer Sanjog Gupta said the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup represents more than on-field competition. 

“ICC’s pinnacle events are global cultural extravaganzas bringing together the best of lifestyle, entertainment, community and experiential diversity, with a compelling athletic spectacle at their heart,” he said, adding that the official song seeks to connect fans worldwide and celebrate the diversity of the sport.

Feel the Thrill is available across major digital platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, JioSaavn, YouTube Music, Instagram and Facebook.

The 2026 edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup marks the return of the tournament to the subcontinent, co-hosted by two nations with a strong cricketing legacy. India enter the tournament as defending champions and will attempt to become the first host nation to lift the T20 World Cup trophy at home.

Matches will be played across eight venues in seven cities in India and Sri Lanka. Ticket prices start from approximately $1.19 in India and $3.23 in Sri Lanka.
