  • Green Card Fraud Crackdown: USCIS Says No Case Is Safe

Green Card Fraud Crackdown: USCIS Says No Case Is Safe

April 2026 54 views 2:17

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has warned that even previously approved Green Card cases can be reopened as part of a broader immigration fraud crackdown. USCIS Director Joseph Edlow says the agency is re-vetting old approvals, expanding investigations, launching public tip lines, and working closely with ICE and CBP to identify fraud and misrepresentation in immigration benefits. Officials say stricter reviews and stronger enforcement are now a top priority.
