Delhi Dreams and Hollywood Visions: Meet the Makers of ‘Zari'

Zari’ is a cross-cultural, queer, coming-of-age short film set in a Delhi sari store. Shruti Parekh won the Julia S. Gouw Short Film Challenge to make ‘Zari’. The film explores identity, self-expression, and belonging through a diasporic lens. ‘Zari’ will stream on AMC+ in June as part of NewFest LGBTQIA.
